Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 1 package (3.4 oz / 96g) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 ½ cups (360 ml) cold milk

For the Ganache Topping:

  • 1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Bake the Cupcakes:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Line a 12-cup muffin tin with liners.
    • Prepare and bake the yellow cake mix as instructed.
    • Let cupcakes cool completely.
  2. Make the Filling:
    • In a bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until thick.
    • Refrigerate for 10 minutes to set.
  3. Fill the Cupcakes:
    • Using a knife or cupcake corer, remove the center of each cupcake.
    • Fill each hole with the vanilla pudding.
  4. Prepare the Ganache:
    • Heat the cream until just boiling, then pour over chocolate chips.
    • Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  5. Top the Cupcakes:
    • Spoon or drizzle ganache over the filled cupcakes.
    • Let set before serving.
